Meeting Theme
2025 International Workshop on Materials Behavior at Micro- and Nano-Scale （Online and Onsite） hosted by the Center for Advancing Materials Performance from the Nanoscale (CAMP-Nano), State Key Laboratory for Mechanical Behavior of Materials, Xi'an Jiaotong University, will be held from May 27th to 30th in Xi’an, China.
Aim and Scope
The main goal of this workshop series (since 2008) is to bring together a lineup of well-known scientists, researchers and engineers to review recent achievements, discuss the current puzzles and share the visions for the future of advancing materials performance from the nanoscale as well as the developments of state-of-the-art instruments that enable such explorations, with an emphasis on deformation and multi-field coupling effect on metals and alloys, nano-mechanics and in situ TEM related topics. The 2025 workshop will feature a special session dedicated to environmental failure and corrosion. The content includes but not limited to experimental, theoretical and computational studies of traditional metals and alloys etc.

The workshop will consist of full days of seminars from May 28th to 30th, 2025. On-site registration is arranged from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm on May 27th at the lobby of Manlan Hotel. The workshop will begin at 8:00 am on May 28th, then proceed to full day seminars as well as a poster session in the afternoon on May 29th. The reception banquet is arranged in the evening of May 28th. Breakfast, lunch and dinner during the workshop are included in the registration.
